It’s been what, three weeks since Rep Emanuel Cleaver claimed he was spit on? And now he won’t talk about it? I know if some guy spit on me, I’d kick his ass! I understand that a politician might choose a different option, but he sure as hell would want that guy punished and not push it behind.
Same goes for the “n word” that was supposedly said by a protester and directed at Rep. John Lewis. Despite the fact that videos show no evidence of the “n word” being uttered, the Left claims it happened.
$10,000 to the person who can prove such an event occurred. Think a video will surface?

So much for the Leftist assumptions and chants of “right wing domestic terrorism” playing a role in the nine Hutaree terrorists. They blast that if a person is a Christian, then they must be a right winger. I find the exact opposite to be true out here, where the Catholics and Christians are usually on the Left.
Most of the indicted militia members accused of being anti-government extremists have active voting records, a check with area voter registration offices showed yesterday.
One is a registered Democrat, and the party affiliations of the rest could not be determined.
Jacob J. Ward, 33, of Huron, Ohio, voted as a Democrat in the 2004 and 2008 primary elections. He also voted in 10 other elections since 2000. Party affiliation in Ohio is determined by which party’s ballot they requested in the most recent primary election.

How a member of Congress can disregard the US Constitution, which they swore to uphold and protect, is frightening. Of course, you won’t see this in the MSM, because they are still salivating over Catholic priests raping young boys.
How sad that he thought life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness was in the US Constitution. He says he read the health care bill three times (maybe the title!) but fails to differentiate clauses between two of the most important documents in US history?

Such words echo the comments section of CNN’s article on yesterday’s Tea Party in Senator Harry Reid’s hometown.
And we’re being told the Left is so tolerant of others? Give me a F*cking break.
Interesting that the Tea-Baggers have the time and money to go to Nevada. I figure that they’re either collecting socialistic unemployment compensation, socialistic medicaid or socialistic medicare.
I honestly wish for the death of all these tea baggers
Sarah Palin please understand that you are a retard, you have no idea how to run a country, you are not qualified to be president.
How classy of the Left to say such things. But the Internet is full of them, and in fact their headquarters is DailyKos. Check this one out:
Sarah Palin does not deserve to live in this once great country
Yeah, such class. Don’t bother waiting for condemnation from the Left’s leaders. No, you see, only Conservatives can be extremists.

The Democrats’ health care bill passed just an hour ago, 219 to 212. Thirty four brave Democrats voted no. Roll call can be found here.
I watched the debates all day on CSPAN. It was clear from the start that the Democrats were going to buy the votes necessary to pass this crap legislation. Today, Big Government won. The only bipartisanship in Congress today was being against the bill.
I don’t care if the passage of this bill was historic, and I am not alone. The bill may have good ideas sprinkled around in it, but the majority of it is unnecessary. I haven’t even read the damn thing and I know that, because let’s be realistic, what good can come from 2,000 pages written by lawyers in smoke filled rooms? Not much.
One question remains; hey November, can you arrive any faster?

“I’m still a no // There is no deal yet. Its a work in progress. Maybe we’ll get there today.”
Breath a sigh of relief, people. There is still hope. Hopefully he realizes the Obama Administration can not be trusted to follow through on promises.
Final vote should come later today.
UPDATE: Check the list here for the vote count. As of 4:06 PM CST, 3/21/2010, it is 212 NO, 216 YES, 3 UNDECIDED.

So far the best news of the weekend, the “Deem and Pass” tactic that was supposed to be used by the Democrats, is now dead.
Democratic leaders have decided to abandon the plan to avoid a direct vote on the Senate health care bill, known as deem and pass.
Instead, multiple Democratic sources told CNN that they will have three independent votes — a vote on the rule, then a vote on the fix package, followed by a vote on the Senate bill.
So it follows that they believe they have the votes necessary to pass the bill. You can change that.
What this country needs is true bipartisan leadership to come forth with sensible solutions. To pass a bill that is 5% excellence and 95% pure crap is insanity.
Of course, so long as both parties continue to take jabs at each other, nothing good will ever get done.

Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) has made it known today he will vote for the $875 billion health care plan currently sitting inside the House of Representatives. The far left Progressive voted against the health care reform bill back in November because it did not include a single-payer system.
Kucinich has displayed great common sense on fiscal issues. However, when the President makes a visit to your district, privately meets with you four times, and asks for your vote, you had better vote in his favor, or else!
Wait a sec, that’s not what the President should be doing. That’s what lobbyists are for!
“The president’s visit to my district … underscored the urgency of this vote,” Kucinich said. “I have doubts about the bill … [but] I’ve decided to cast a vote in favor of the legislation.”
Traitor. I realize Kucinich is a far lefty guy. I can respect that, to an extent. His fiscal policy record is astounding for any politician in Washington DC. But what the hell happened? This bill will not lower premiums, as mentioned by Dick Durbin (D-IL) .
Well then…so much for cutting costs.
