Did It Happen Or Did It Not?

Same goes for the “n word” that was supposedly said by a protester and directed at Rep. John Lewis. Despite the fact that videos show no evidence of the “n word” being uttered, the Left claims it happened.

$10,000 to the person who can prove such an event occurred. Think a video will surface?

“Right Wing Domestic Terrorism” Assumptions

Posted by Anthony on April 2, 2010

So much for the Leftist assumptions and chants of “right wing domestic terrorism” playing a role in the nine Hutaree terrorists. They blast that if a person is a Christian, then they must be a right winger. I find the exact opposite to be true out here, where the Catholics and Christians are usually on the Left.

Most of the indicted militia members accused of being anti-government extremists have active voting records, a check with area voter registration offices showed yesterday.

One is a registered Democrat, and the party affiliations of the rest could not be determined.

Jacob J. Ward, 33, of Huron, Ohio, voted as a Democrat in the 2004 and 2008 primary elections. He also voted in 10 other elections since 2000. Party affiliation in Ohio is determined by which party’s ballot they requested in the most recent primary election.

How sad that he thought life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness was in the US Constitution. He says he read the health care bill three times (maybe the title!) but fails to differentiate clauses between two of the most important documents in US history?

Interesting that the Tea-Baggers have the time and money to go to Nevada. I figure that they’re either collecting socialistic unemployment compensation, socialistic medicaid or socialistic medicare.

I honestly wish for the death of all these tea baggers

Sarah Palin please understand that you are a retard, you have no idea how to run a country, you are not qualified to be president.

How classy of the Left to say such things. But the Internet is full of them, and in fact their headquarters is DailyKos. Check this one out:

Sarah Palin does not deserve to live in this once great country

Yeah, such class. Don’t bother waiting for condemnation from the Left’s leaders. No, you see, only Conservatives can be extremists.

Thoughts On Mesa, Arizona

Posted by Anthony on March 27, 2010

I just got back from a week long trip in Mesa, Arizona. Some comments:

The flight from Chicago to Mesa was about 3.5 hours. Not bad, and no headaches this time! Last time I was on an airplane was three years ago. The flight was Chicago to Orlando-about 2 hours, but I got a terrible headache halfway through. The pain started in my forehead and slowly traveled to my teeth. Very weird, and it happened going back. This time, no headaches :)

Getting out of the Barry Goldwater Terminal made me smile.

I love the air-so clean and fresh.

Scariest moment was walking down 8th Street…

I found out I am really good at Gin.

Sunburned…not fun…

More political blogging later/tomorrow.

Global Warming Causes…Violence? WTF?

Posted by Anthony on March 26, 2010

As if the Man-Made Global Warming (aka ManBearPig) movement wasn’t crazy enough, it just got a little crazier.

Global warming could make the world a more violent place, because higher temperatures increase human aggression and create volatile situations, a new study says.

The report combined government data about average yearly temperatures with statistics on the number of violent crimes committed between 1950 and 2008.

Based on those records, the authors estimate that if the average temperature in the U.S. increases by 8 degrees Fahrenheit (4.4 degrees Celsius), the country’s murder and assault rate will jump by about a hundred thousand cases a year.

Sounds like super cereal business to me.

Comforting The Pro-Choice Side

Posted by Anthony on March 26, 2010

NPR decided to provide more comfort to the Pro-Choice side of the Abortion debate.

Here’s the memo that was just distributed to all NPR staff:

“NPR News is revising the terms we use to describe people and groups involved in the abortion debate.

This updated policy is aimed at ensuring the words we speak and write are as clear, consistent and neutral as possible. This is important given that written text is such an integral part of our work.

On the air, we should use “abortion rights supporter(s)/advocate(s)” and “abortion rights opponent(s)” or derivations thereof (for example: “advocates of abortion rights”). It is acceptable to use the phrase “anti-abortion”, but do not use the term “pro-abortion rights”.

I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised NPR is coddling the Left on this issue. I’m not going to be a hack and call Pro-Choice people “Pro-Abortion” because that’s not what they are-very few people are actually “pro-abortion”.

But there is nothing wrong with “pro choice” or “pro life”, other than the fact that it leaves little bias to either side.
